Cloudera Flow Management 4.0.0 TP for Cloudera 7.3.1
Cloudera is happy to announce the release of Cloudera Flow Management 4.0.0 as a Technical Preview, allowing you and your and customers to try out new NiFi 2 capabilities with Cloudera’s first NiFi 2 based on-prem release (in Technical Preview) and do new things like create RAG pipelines for GenAI, Data Engineering, as well as Machine Learning model scoring using new processors and integrations. Release of 7.3.1: Important Things for You to Know
In case you missed it, Cloudera released its unified runtime with Cloudera 7.3.1 in December 2024. This is a single software release available for both cloud and on-premises environments, pulling together Cloudera on Cloud 7.2.18 and Cloudera on premises 7.1.9, This means that Cloudera will have a single release for both cloud and on-premises going forward, allowing us to accelerate innovation through the focus on a single code base.

Modernizing Versioning
The release of Cloudera 7.3.1.0 introduces a modernized and consistent versioning system that will help customers easily track releases and understand the updates being delivered.
The new versioning structure follows a four-part format: 7.X.Y.Z, where each segment has a specific meaning. See details here.
Support Changes
To complement the updated versioning mentioned above, we have refined our support lifecycle to ensure long-term reliability. Each major release now enjoys a predictable three-year support cycle. You can find more detail in the blog, here.
